The Glamorganshire Canal

Canalside and Llwyn yr Eos, Abercanaid
A little further towards Abercynon is the row of houses known as Canalside.
The sign on the wall says 'J Ebenezers Reliable Seeds'
The painted building at the end of Canalside is the Llwyn yr Eos Inn, a favourite watering hole of the canal boatmen.
Llwyn yr Eos means Nightingale's Bush (or Grove).
